Welcome to
Crossley Community Association
The Crossley Community Association is a not for profit charity based in the Chadderton area of Oldham. We aim to provide opportunities for people to get involved with educational, health & well being courses, help with improving our neighbourhood and gaining new skills. We also organise events for people to meet new neighbours and get involved in loving where they live.
As a charity we have a board of Trustees who set the strategic direction of our charity, and oversee our work to make sure we are complaint with the appropriate regulations. We also have a group of charity members and volunteers who assist the board on a daily basis. Minutes of our Trustees meetings can be found here.
As part of our commitment to the local community we hold a community chest, where people can apply for small grants (up to £500) that aims to help people with their own aspirations or improve their local area. For more information about our community chest please click here.
Our charity also manages a local community centre – the Crossley Centre. The centre is where a lot of our activity is delivered from. The centre was built as part of the gateways to Oldham PFI partnership between Oldham Council, Inspiral Oldham LTD, Great Places Housing Association and Wates Construction. The centre can also accommodate private bookings and has excellent facilities. The centre is a significant contributor to our charities funds. For more information please click here.
